Definately worthy of the banner, these are rarer to find than Celtic Staters. The one I found looked like that & I straighten it myself (Scary task & I don't recommend it, I just wasn't willing to pay £100-200).

I think they are nearer 22-23K, can't remember what Nigel Mills told me now

Search that field carefully, we got two Gold Hammered off the same field

I'm guessing that even though it's on the Finds Banner now it won't get the number of replies the find deserves--probably because it is not an american coin , and also perhaps because it doesn't look as yellow and glittery in the photo as it, in fact, is.

Well, that coin is worth more than 10 common-date american gold coins.
