Belt plate ?

[rvrpilot]

These two relics where found on the same home site here in Illinois,I also
recovered several buttons and a few coins at this spot also. The oldest dated coin that was found was a 1854 setted dime, but these two items I have not been able to identify. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Bump.

One more thing: There may be a bench number or inspector's stamp on that sword pommel (that is where swords were usually stamped after inspection). It would be small, and usually hidden around the rim somewhere. I feel that the ID is correct, but there is another little bit of information for you. If there is a stamp there, then that seals the deal. Great find!
