seems like too much.

Quick google shows 67 lbs. to 150 lbs. for 1,000 lb. cow......35 pounds of hay to sustain one, how do they turn that into so much poop?

interesting.

Cow's pooooooooop more here in PA!

I've been tipped a few times. I even woke up with poop in my pants after one episode. 8-)

Okay- so a question to all you people that live in the frozen north.

Cows poop all winter long outside.

Poop hits the ground and freezes.

Spring...

When all that poo melts at once...

It's just got to be-

I mean... how do you deal with it?

If you live in the country, this stuff doesn't bother you. You get used to the smells and animals. Love it when the city folks visit and " what the hell is that terrible smell ? " What smell ?

I have been known to stop on the side of the road, roll down the window and moo at cows. Even recently.

My trucks fender wells and nerf bars are covered in cow poop. I park it and it rains and wheat starts growing under it.

Our neighbor raised hogs. Someone once asked him how he could stand to live around that stink. He replied that he couldn't smell any stink, it smelled like money to him.

We raised milk cows when I was a kid. Several times when I was running around barefoot I accidentally stepped in a fresh juicy pile. Man, it really squeezes up between your toes.:unhappysmiley:

When you are walking through the cow pasture you would swear it was three times that much..

43,000 pounds of poop melts into the soil, and feed the plants, which make 100 and 43,000 pounds of hay. The cattle eat all that hay, and make beef steaks, which, along with beer, contain all the essential nutrients a red neck needs to survive On top of that, a little cow poop between the toes never hurt anybody, it gives you character.

I lived on a ranch for a while. The cows grazed- no supplements.

Cow poop does not stink, and once nice and dry we could use it to start a campfire or play frisbee with the stuff.

The poop only stinks when they get added chemicals and supplemental feed.
