Perhaps what he is showing is a very close but out of focus tool check, key check, or something of that nature, made out of a flat washer. That wasn't all that unusual in the early 1900s to mid 1900s.

I beg to differ, Mike. Without what you consider “stupid-nous” this place would be very boring to many of us. I remember a time not so long ago that the word stupid was not allowed here, along with a slew of other words that were prohibited. That seems to have changed with new ownership.

My point being that what you may deem unworthy - others may enjoy. “Different people like different things”. I was merely suggesting a dedicated section to accommodate those posting “different things” so bothered folks such as yourself could simply scroll on by and avoid the annoyance. Of course you could just scroll on by now for that matter.

If it’s not hurting anyone or offensive it shouldn’t be a problem in my opinion. Different strokes for different folks. I’m enjoying the word play, others may not.

Just FYI, it has nothing to do with current ownership, Mtdoramike's comment does not now, nor in the past violated our rules. Comment was not used as a personal insult directed at a member. If anything rules are tighter now than they were under Marc, nothing against Marc either..

Of course. I never said it did, I was referring to the list of words that would automatically be ‘bleeped/blocked’ if you used them in your post. Something in the software if I’m remembering correctly. It’s been several years. I was not policing anyone, just making an observation. But I absolutely defer to you, was not my intention. I’ll just move along.
