Id call leaverites on the brown ones.

I really do not see anything that looks man worked, but could we see a front/back photo of the item that is circled.

I see evidence of a "manufactering site". This is a site where they harvested materials. They would chip on a few here and there to find quality materials. I have also found blanks/preforms at these types of site. You need to search all the surrounding ridges/hills for a camp/village site.

These ARE tools. I'm glad to see someone that has taken the time to observe and recognize not all stone tools were built to last. Some were disposable. Like today's lawn mowers, we have the $100.00 off brand that is tossed after 3 years, then we have the John Deere. Same concept. Not saying all crude tools should be in display cases. However, they do deserve respect and acknowledgement. Nice post!!

Those are just natural rocks. You can find them everywhere.

Interesting Lolol love responses I have a opinion myself if you were going to hull out some logs or plow tennessee ground in this area you would in no way do it with a nice flint knapped piece I've broke cutting edges on dozer blades and track hoe teeth in this old rocky ground but its only in this part of the county ill post a pic of some post hole diggers we used for fence post destroyed after only 4 10 inch holes lol just an opinion haha

Yes I believe a hoe too but very crude and ruff not worth anything but there are lots the same shape if they are or aren't they are cool either way I like to post the crazy things to see what people think thanks for the responses ;)

All I see are rocks and nothing more. They aren't artifacts. Someone else on this forum posts tons of this stuff too and still thinks they are artifacts. These are a work of nature, not the hands of man. Sorry. Keep looking.

And as always I'll b looking lol thanks for the input 😜

Many of these tools have little work done to them. If a serious collector were to hold some of these, I hope they would be able to see the human hand print on them. I'm not sure though.

I'm sure. I see rocks. No matter how long I stare at them they will be nothing but rocks. I've been doing this for a while about 22 years worth. I know I couldn't possibly have any credibility with less than 100 posts to my name but I assure you I know the difference between a rock and an artifact. Most of the time I know the difference between an authentic and a fake piece. There is common sense and wishful thinking. If you still think these are anything other than rocks than I suggest you collect stamps.

I've found my fair share of artifacts. I have plenty of experience to justify my opinions that most would call facts. The FACT remains those are rocks, these are artifacts. Thanks.

Hawbuck, no need to substantiate your collecting experience although there are some exceptional artifacts there. I agree, these are only rocks. 50 kinds of adzes? I would love to see that reference.

Hawbuck I'm not in any way trying to get you ralwed up. I'm not questioning your experience or knowledge. I do question how you can look at a photograph and draw FACTS. In FACT I know it can't be done with quick crude artifacts. Maybe these rough cuts aren't found everywhere. I do not think these are trophy pieces. However, I do think to understand a culture, one must understand the tools used by a culture. One must understand the near insignificant as they do the most outstanding. Without hands on study of any artifact, facts can not be drawn. Now, I'm not taking any thing from you.

By the way, nice pieces you posted!! I wish all artifacts looked as yours do. In my area, they don't. The ones you have are certainly more desirable than the crude ones.

I have to agree with Hawbuck and IlliniGuy, I too see nothing but rocks and not artifacts. Sorry.
