Having been out of town for the Thanksgiving weekend, I was needing a fix no matter how bad the weather was.
Forcast is 30 to 40 mph wind 7-10 foot waves.
I found a beach that faced a direction that offered a little protection from the direct wind.
I worked the wet sand as the waves were washing it out.
got a 1923 Merc, an antique silver pin, and a 10 K gold wedding band, 1.3g

WTG Ron nice finds for the conditions.... I too needed a fix today and went to Erie. Lake was building but I got in early and knew it was time to get out when I got planted on my arse by a wave. Guess I was lucky that I was only thigh deep and my rain jacket fits tightly over the chest waders, it let very little water in. After that, I did as you did without the good results.

Nice Ron , you're tougher than me . I hit the water here in FL with Chris yesterday and almost froze in my shorty wetsuit . Will try again today with my new long suit .
