🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Bullet (?) but what kind and how old?

I’ve found a lot of bullets and rifle cartridges around here but none like this.

Probably not a bullet casing...the thin brass with a channel in the side makes me think of a vintage lipstick tube or at least a piece of one

Keep looking for the good stuff
