Button has me stumped

Found this in my yard today, it is a button but has me stumped. As far as details to help identify it, I live in Shippensburg PA and my yard has given up IH's from the 1800s, a lamp part dated 1877, colonial coins ect. I am not sure what this is made of but it rang up very high like a quarter. Has anyone ever seen one like this? Any Idea on age ect?

One ID so far has said Confederate Rosette off of a horse. The Rebels did occupy Shippensburg in June of 1863. Was told its a Bulls Eye Rosette. Thats all the more info I can give. Hopefully someone will ID this for sure

I could be way off but to be honest with you it looks more like a button off of a denim jacket from the 80's.. 1980s.
It's definitely not a rosette not anywhere close.

thanks man.. its hard to say, either way i wont be upset. The other day i found a 1890 IH here and regularly find stuff from the 1800s. I was just curious since my lawn gives goodies up everytime I am out haha
