Button help

Does anyone know about what time period this button is from? Looks like it was hammered and the top is convex. I can’t find anything online that has this style shank.

I hate to say it but I don't think there are too many button experts out there. I know I'm not one and I've tried researching some of the ones I've found in past without luck as well.
