Can aftermarket mono coils be used with a Fisher AQ pulse detector modified?

I came across this photo of a one adding a mono coil to a Fisher AQ pulse detector coil?
Is this fairly easy to do as a modification add on coil
Anyone doing this?

Here on TN I found a photo of the coil pins on the battery, see attached.
I will take a look at the newer model release.

The connectors and pins are the same on the newer model.
Can anyone tell me the pin configuration?

Wow now that is what I'm looking for and thank you for posting.

Thats a old picture, That fitting never made it into production.

Just checking to see if the plug fittings are close to the newer production plugs

At some point I will have to bite the bullet and try some other coils with a modified plug to fit the AQ.
Any suggestions on what coil to start with?
