And the final answer is .................................................................................................No !

Well, that's not quite correct...

As in other matters, the proper answer would be, "It is not practical at this time."

The governator of Kawleefournya had converted his hummer to run on hydrogen a few years ago.
To me that proves it can be done even on big heavy autos.

gg~

I was told that the first automobiles were hydrogen powered before gasoline, so the technology for browns gas is nothing new.

The Governator commutes from LA to Frisco in a Helicopter, it DOES NOT run on hydrogen. There is a local guy that has a hydrogen car he has to go to Fresno to fill it up. It will not make the round trip without a tow. Starting to look like we'll be putting a mast and sail on the roof but getting a legislator to sit on the trunk and supply wind is pricey, it's not the salary but the beni's that will break ya.Only in Kawleefournya.

Ha!

That guy in the amphicar was afraid!
He hit the water kinda fast... a little bit more and he could have taken on water over the gunwhale as he made the big splash.

Knew a guy who had one... he ran it up on the rocks in a harbor. sunk it.

Nothing like it built since then, that I know of.
Even then, it wasn't new.
German army had the the schwimwagon, or whatever they called the modified volkswagen thingie in WWII.
and we had the DUKW.

I was in a DUKW once... going down the highway... big ponderous goofy thing.
Had a Dodge flathead six in it.
NOT a lot of power!
Some divers were using it for a salvage craft.
Don't really know how it worked out for them.
