Nothing that awesome but silver is silver. Running register isn’t my favorite thing to be called upon to do during my day but if I could do this everytime it would definitely take the sting out of it.

Gotta take all the perks you can. Sharp eye!

I found a silver quarter a few months back and lots of wheats and 4os nickles fun to look.. Good finds on those.

Not a sharp eye. I heard that sweet sound silver makes when giving a customer change. Then a quick look at the edge and it got separated from the rest.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Been better than 25 years since I've seen any silver in change. It caught my attention by the sound it made when the barmaid dropped my change on the bar, as I was having a few drinks with some customers in Phoenix. It was a 64' quarter.

I would love running a cash register, just for that reason. They may be far and few between, but they are still out there. Nice grabs.

Yeah it’s nice. Loved it when I work cash office fixing the tills for the day. Remember a morning there was 3 dollars worth of silver quarters in one till. Have not had days like that since silver hit near 40 dollars an ounce few years back. Use to find it all the time before that.

I started working convenience stores & retail running registers back in the late '70's early '80's.
Probably for about 3-4 yrs.
Our boss was great about allowing us to segregate the old money, and at the end of the shift,
we could buy it out of the till, just replace the face value. ;D

Yeah... I loaded up! :laughing7:

There's a certain sound, look, and feel... 8-) :cat:
