I remember when my current partner did this crap to me. After I found out ,,of course I was all shaken up but then had a brilliant plan. I planned a get together of all my friends and their wives,, plus one very special guest.
That's right,,, I invited a female friend for myself. So while my partner was all smug about her soiree,, I pitched a small tent in the back 40 of my property and my "friend" and myself had us a glorious time doing,,, well you get the picture.
So the morning came and my partner saw us sitting around the tent, having morning coffee and chatting up a storm and proceeded to try to rip my friend down. Ehhhh,,, ain't gonna happen. I clearly stated what I knew and how I knew then moved back to finishing my conversation with my friend.
Well to make a long and convoluted story short,,, my friend had a great time,,, I had a great time,,and my partner had a crappy time after realizing she was not the only one who can do this crap. So she finally saw the "light",,,admitted her wrong-doing then profusely apologized to me. My friend was and still is a very good friend,,and yes,,,my partner and I are still together after a decade now,,,quite happily too I must add.
I do NOT recommend anyone doing this,,, but it worked for me.
Still to this day I smirk when I think of this interesting evening.
