Has anyone actually used one of these? On Amazon it has zero reviews, and the only seller has only a 39% positive rating. I like the idea but I suspect it's a 'one and done' tool... wasted money.
Looks like it's just a dibble. A dibble is a tool for planting seeds and only makes a hole to drop the seed into it is not a digging tool as it does not remove any dirt. One simply stomps the hole closed after inserting the seed.
Considering the diameter of it you'd be lucky to get in the ground in anyplace but fresh tilled or potting soil. Even in here in FL that'd be a lot of work in packed soil. I've made plastic and fiberglass probes and they weren't too great either. Abrasion from the soil messes them pretty fast.
