Metal Detecting
I have been hitting a local park, dodging the rug rats Who are out on spring break!
Several people said there have been People detecting all over the park in the last week or so including a guy in hip waders, detecting in the water!!!
They are not hitting all the coin signals or the pull tabs! Yes i dig pull tab signals You will see why when you see todays find!!!!!

Today finds include the following

10 pennies
4 nickles
2 dimes
1 Knife broken
1 kitchen knife
10 pull tabs

1 Beautiful gold Medallion!!! hope you like!!!!!

Had It tested 18k GOLD Weight was 30.6 Grams This is the largest gold item I Have ever found!!!

What's all the talk about scrap price? That piece is a beaut, my wife thought so too! Lovely detail, congrats!

Sorry I was Reflecting on the Past, Its been over 2 years and Its still Exciting to Hold It In My Hand Plus there are alot of New People Here that Have Not Seen it Yet LOL Chug

That is an awesome find sure hope i find something that cool. Thanks for sharing it:occasion18:

Well..it was fun to read about but fooled me a bit too. I was just ready to vote BANNER when I noticed the date, 2010. It sucks to get old!

Pretty fantastic find...please don't scrap it for the gold!! Those sure look like rubies there too. It's way too beautiful of a medallion to lose (to a refinery).

I am curious why this didn't get a banner...any Mods want to chime in an explain? It seems it did get some votes.

WOW!!! Super nice find. Deserves a banner for sure!

Yes .. it was a great discovery ! :icon_thumleft:
