Hey my friend, that is one sweet Indian and worth some $$ if you were so inclined. I know a place that I could pretty guarantee you'd get those last 3, and Congrats when you do, wherever that may be! Hope you and Tony and yours are safe and looking forward to some Portuguese steak later this year (I hope!).

With that many Indians I’d be curious how many seated you have?

That’s going to be a cool milestone! To find 1000 IH cents in 32 years means you are finding 31.25 of them per year.

The number of IH cents I find annually would mean it’ll take me 100 years to find 1000 of them haha

That's a good looking coin. Rarity and condition make a nice combination. Congrats Ed. :occasion14:

I believe I'm closing in on my first Indian Head after 13 years of detecting - since I mostly hunt in the forests now ! You should move to Pennsylvania if you want to be absolutely sure to get the final three ! Those P.A. hunters find 3 IH's almost every time out !

Its a shame you can't have two avatar pics because that second pic of the emerald green Indian peeking out from behind the dirt is just killer. I can certainly understand not wanting to supplant that GW button though. Here's to #998, #999 and #1000. Make it happen. :notworthy:

That's quite an accomplishment Ed. Are there any dates that you have yet to find? What is the most common date that keeps coming up for you?
Looking forward to reading about # 1000!
