Coin

The ones with silver?

^^Lol I would get half dollar boxes if you can afford em and dimes if you cant afford halves.

Friend, start small and loot and plunder pocket change.

Half pennies will definitely be the oldest, because they haven't made those for a long time. Same with three cent coins.

If you want to branch out, try looking for a Denarius, they haven't made those in a few thousand years.

The most likely coin that you would find in pocket change that is either silver or old?

I found a 1943 one cent coin in my pocket a few moons ago.

Search golden dollars for the real gold ones. You have to bounce them three times each off concrete to know if they are real. I like to do it in major roadways.

You're my hero. ;)

Depends. There are no guarantees in this hobby. Your best bet is to try a few boxes and see which ones produce the most where you are.

Definitely pennies. Get 40 a box. That's 1.60 profit. Same as finding a silver dime.

Some say the ones with inspector # 4199 are the best. Seriously, there are so many variations per area that your question is beyond the scope of a decent answer.

Ask the guys who mark coins.
