Found this brooch out at the old smokehouse site I posted a week or so ago. This brooch surprised me when I was cleaning it up at how much color is yet left on it. Any ideas on approximate age? I have no expertise in dating jewelry, any help would be awesome!!!

Cant help with a date but thats a cool find

Hello -- It appears to be half of a buckle, with enameled Victorian love knot. Nice find!

Cool find, and with color still there! Congratulations! Thanks for posting.

very cool find, cleaned up nicely (and colorfully)

it is either half of a sash buckle or part of a broken suspender buckle. I vote for the 1st
