"Cookie coin" mystery solved: She's walkin' and he's flying :>)..here's pics

Gentlemen who took guesses as to the identity of this coin: you are very sharp!

It is a 1943 ( Dr,. Joe, now how did you know the correct date? :icon_scratch:) Walking Liberty.

Was hoping that it was a Barber...next time.:icon_thumright:

This one's in better condition than others that I have found in the salty mud.

Here's a couple of pics...check out the weight loss after the encrustation was removed.

Thanks for guessing & thanks for looking at my posts.

wow, I did not see this post down the page, great job on the cleaning - nice one Lorraine.

Nice job on the encrustation removal! That's a great coin find you made :)

Wow! Always amazed at how well your cleaning methods work and oh by the way the goods you score.

I love your post ..the before and after...and mystery coins/cookie coins!! I missed seeing your post while I was away from the forums you post at!! WTG KEEP THEM COMMING!! :icon_thumleft: :occasion14: :headbang:

Nice Walker! Actually maybe it's better not to be a Barber..you'd feel a lot sicker having a toasty Barber, maybe?

I just kind of like 1943 :laughing7:

in this day and age - Im still surprised when big silver comes up - I got 4 halves this yr so far
WTG on your big silver - I know you got a few this yr too :icon_thumleft:
good sign that there are more goodies down deep

Wow I never get anything to clean up that nice. Any voltage involved?

Thanks, Bumpstick,

I use a 6 V battery with the electrolysis; originally had a "plug in" charger set -up, but it broke and haven't repaired it yet.

nice silver.:icon_thumleft:
