Sweet gold band, congrats. Yes, we trade pounds of aluminum for grams of gold! (Not to mention the labor involved...) Sub 8-)

Look at it like this, pull tabs are dues you have to pay to finally get the gold. ;-)

Yup this is why I only hunt the super early colonial sites....no pull tabs......but also no gold....yet 8-)

Different areas have different exchange rates. Around here it is about 1000 to 1. Chalk it up to exercise to ease the pain. :laughing7:

Holy smokes!! If you are at a 150 to 1 average you are one of the luckiest Folks I know!! :D

It took me a year of digging pull tab hits before I finally found gold.

WTG!
From a guy that has dug a lot of gold - dig your pull tabs
Ive has followed a lot of guys that cranked their discrim. to pass them up
and find gold behind them all the time
it will be worth it -I did an article called
"TRASH - The importance of picking it up"
will PM you a link to it

YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRASH!

Good work on the ring, congrats!

Small gold and low K rating seems to move those targets further into the pull tab range. Want gold? dig the pull tab signals.

That's from a particular park that is fairly clean so I've been digging everything that repeats. Another that I've been hitting for years I believe you would have to dig hundreds and hundreds to find any gold. I don't think digging everything is practical everywhere.

so many pull tabs ,my hatred towards them is very high....
