Calibration adds confidence in the measurements;

Project reports explain the process of calibration. Calibration is routine before, during and after each survey. Surveys include perpendicular "tielines" that demonstrate that the data is repeatable as the tieline data compares to the original survey data.

More Gold and precious metals have been revealed in the DIGHEM surveys done in Alaska than anywhere else on earth! Australia has been doing SKYTEM surveys to identify minerals and water resources.

SKYTEM is a Time Domain "PULSE" method and cannot discriminate metals and minerals like DIGHEM which is FDEM (aka VLF) and therefore capable of discrimination using "phase".

I don’t know what the most modern LRL’s use but these aerial type of systems are more complicated and more computer data is gathered than the old MFD type locators with L-rods. And add to it any geological knowledge of the area.

Most people don’t realize the early MFD locators did use an electronic receiver. It was a few years later that Dell Winders introduced the L-rods as a way of detecting the signal, especially during times of varying power/reception.

LRL's and other two bit equivalent wonders would be used by legitimate exploration companies if they really did work! They do not work!

Everyone wants a cheap solution to get rich quick. LRL's and their cousins in the market place are pure and simple fraudulent schemes designed to fleece non-technical prospectors out of their money.

It is sad and unfortunate that people don't take the time to learn a few simple facts about why metal detectors work and an LRL with a nine volt battery, antenna and a meter does not work.
There's way too much experience with DIGHEM to debate the issue.

Metal detectors have worked from the beginning born out of WWI and WWII mine detectors and submarine chasers. It's all history and not subject to any dispute. Cost is a factor in anything costing over $20.00 for some. DIGHEM is out of that realm costing millions, surveys costing millions ran by scientists costing millions for exploration companies worth millions. DIGHEM is presented here for the virtue of detecting GOLD deposits and sharing that information with readers.

In our discussion on DIGHEM, the take-away is that DIGHEM is a system that can get us on the Gold!

DIGHEM surveys have been done. The data reveals locations containing buried treasure in the form of valuable mineral deposits. My effort is directed toward facilitating an understanding of DIGHEM and helping others to realize the importance of what DIGHEM can do. As individuals, we have an opportunity to know where gold is buried. Knowing that the technology is proven. Knowing the technology is being used every day by mining and exploration companies to find more gold. As a result, eventually gold as a commodity will have all been discovered!

I suspect Astronaut Gordon Cooper used something similar when he was mapping Soviet submarine locations from orbit. He also mapped shipwrecks for his own use. There was a tv series about this but they never found out what equipment he was using.

A NASA employee from years ago Bill Morgan worked with frequency discriminators. He never mentioned where he got his info. He came up with some frequencies that were very close to Earth Field NMR frequencies.

Dowser has nothing but "cause and coincidence". Randi debunked dowsing decades ago in a televised double blind test in the land of Aussies.
