All of my half dollar veins are tapped out! I still pick up whatever loose and CWRs that I can find. I am finding 3-4 40%ers a month.

My new goal is 2-3 dime boxes a day, 6 days a week. Hopefully I will find 15-20 silver dimes a week.

So far:
Sunday
Box #1 - 2 FDRs
Box #2 - 3 FDRs
Monday
Box #1 skunk
Box #2 1 FDR
Tuesday
Box #1 4 FDRs and 1x1968 Canadian (50% Ag)
Box #2 1 FDR
Box #3 1 Merc (1944)
Wed
Box #1 skunk
Box #2 skunk
Thurs
Box #1 shunk
Box #2 2 FDRs
Box #3 shunk

Totals: 14 US silver dimes and one 50% Canadian dime

I used to only search dimes and one of my cooler finds was a 1968 half Swiss Franc. That said: 1968 was the first year they stopped being silver:sadsmiley: I have found three 5 pence and more Canadian dimes than I care to think about. Loomis is the brand carried by my bank and I can't complain. I don't think that I have ever been skunked on finding silver two boxes in a row.

It's still worth more than a half dollar in exchange.

Monday - very busy, I was only able to get a small amount of dimes
Dimes
CWR $90: 1946, 1955 (lowest mintage silver FDR), 1960D, 1962D, 1963D

Which is interesting, because I've found 1955's, but I've never found a SINGLE 1949, let alone an S. I bought an MS 49 S at a coin show for the long run.

It's impossible, but I wish there was an accurate count of what was still out there after the years of melting down.

Dimes are to small so who cares???

Silver is silver. Get it however you can. Dimes usually produce better then halves for me and they are 90%. It's all good.

1 box produced: 61D, 09P

I usually get two to three silvers per dime box so this box was on the low side.
