All of my half dollar veins are tapped out! I still pick up whatever loose and CWRs that I can find. I am finding 3-4 40%ers a month.

My new goal is 2-3 dime boxes a day, 6 days a week. Hopefully I will find 15-20 silver dimes a week.

So far:
Sunday
Box #1 - 2 FDRs
Box #2 - 3 FDRs
Monday
Box #1 skunk
Box #2 1 FDR
Tuesday
Box #1 4 FDRs and 1x1968 Canadian (50% Ag)
Box #2 1 FDR
Box #3 1 Merc (1944)
Wed
Box #1 skunk
Box #2 skunk
Thurs
Box #1 shunk
Box #2 2 FDRs
Box #3 shunk

Totals: 14 US silver dimes and one 50% Canadian dime

Just out of curiosity, what has been your best dime box ever? You seem to primarily hunt dimes, which is why I ask.

Best dime box ever was 21 silver dimes
Best CWR was 50 silver dimes in $100 CWR

Thursday
Dimes
CWR $190: 1960D
Garda MWR $100: skunk

Nice! That must've been exciting, especially the CWRs!

Friday
For those who have been following, this has been a tough week. Plenty of skunks with the rest being low yield (1-2 silver dimes per box), but today I had a reversal of fortune.

$100 MWR Loomis: 1937, 1942, 1947, 1950, 1959D, 1964x3

This week's total: 18 silver dimes (16 FDR, 2 Merc)
1.3 oz of silver for $1.80

Right me too. I had skunks all week in the Metro Lansing area. So I figured I'd get a nickel box and some halves. In the process I only got $40 in dimes $30 MWR and $10 CWR. Out of the $30 MWR it had 2 pre-65's.. :-D The halves had one roll that was all 99 and up S mint proof UNC grade.. Don't know if they're worth a lick but cool to look at. lol

Keep up the search, I don't post much on your log but follow it every day.

How were you able to identify this one? Do you go through every dime and check the dates?

I generally edge search only, but I can't spot a copper-nickel proof from edge searching. If a coin catches my eye (shiny, thick) I will take a look. Lately I have found 2 proofs, which is a lot for me.

Sunday
I couldn't find much coin today but did well given the low volume.
