Like Marks, I am a sceptic, but of a different kind. His scepticism is directed towards anything he regards as "paranormal", taking as normal that which lies within the limits of ---- "current" -- scientific understanding.

The poster here with more than one alias was thrown off Thunting.com months ago.
Jeff of Pa , if you let him continue he gets cheekier and drives off any regular posters. You just got this section of T/net firing and you watch it dwindle. Bye

I thought we went through this before.
"No accusations without Proof"

He hasn't attacked anyone

and

I don't see anything in Milkdrops posts that seem out of line.
and certainly nothing to make me say anything to him
other then

Welcome to TreasureNet !

Jeff

P.S. in fact if I was going to remove anything,
it would be every post here accusing him of being someone else ;)

The same guy as who, dowser? Think sharp, and remember for someone with an open mind, this shouldn't be a tough question.

Wait a minute, wait a minute! First Dowser 501 accuses me of being someone else, then he accuses the person who started the post of being someone else?

Get your act together, Doswer. Jeeze.....>:(

Nah i'm not this mysterious Sam dude i'm just here to learn a thing or 2 about Dowsing thats all.

Gee SWR...Carl has equipment that can measure signals. So how come you don't know of any?...Art

Wrong ..Wrong ..again.

I haven't claimed that a signal cannot propagate through the ground, since I know that it can, and I know that it can be detected with proper equipment. I've done this out to about 60 feet or so, with more powerful signal generators, and have even posted that experiment on these forums. So the 100-foot number is being very, very, very generous. It's probably more like a foot or two for this particular product. What does NOT happen is a so-called "signal line," and I will pay dearly for someone to prove me wrong on this.

Hey Milkdrops...Keep the questions coming. I injoy all the excuses and trying to change the subject posts...Art

Whats the deal here do some of you think i'm someone else called Sam?!?!?

"Sam" is an honorary term applied to all new denizens. Welcome, Sam! :)

I happen to agree with Dell Winders on this...100%

There is no such thing as a "signal line", I'm glad we all agree

Signal Line is a term concocted by dowsers who interpret the movements of their dowsing implements "as if" there were actually tangible signals being transmitted through the ground (or air), and they suddenly come in contact with these so-called invisible signal lines. Signal Lines are a figment of the imagination in an attempt to satisfy the conscious mind of a dowser. Occam's Razor is always ignored in favor of the more palatable and bogus "signal line" delusion.

I'm really glad to see Dell Winders has finally admitted there are no such things. It has been many years, but he's finally repenting.

Gee little lady....I guess you should read some of the threads also....http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,19537.0.html

A simple alum disk inside of a jar can prove that these signals are real. Carl agrees that objects will move the disk but says it is not because of any signal. Try the simple experiment before you speak of delusions....Art

:D Apparently, a case of mistaken quote identity. Dell
I'm curious, Dell. How is this photo proof of signal lines?

Hey Dell...Carl's quote puts them out of excuses....They can no longer claim that the signals are a delusion.....The through the air signals can be used. I use the ground signals because I like to keep all my reactions as close to the same no matter what tools I am using....Art

No one is saying signals don't travel through the air or the ground, Art. Where was that written?
What has been questioned are signal lines, that is lines that travel out from a buried object directly to your dowsing rod. I think you're assuming signal lines are somehow like laser beams that shoot out all over the place, but that isn't the case.

Oh....... I'm well aware of your fascination with a common electroscope. Perhaps if you'd finished high school you wouldn't be claiming "signal lines" coming from one. ;D ;D ;D

That's not how it works, Art. You are an extremely entertaining fellow. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D LOL

Gee Jean and AF.....OK....Please explain WHAT MAKES THE DISK TURN?????Art

From what I've read I would have to say body heat, since the disk always seemed to turn when you are working around it, but I would like to find the thread where you and Carl were talking about this jar and the real name of the experiment. Then I can look into it a bit more.

Hey af1733....You will have to look for it .....It may be gone...Carl stated that the object would turn the disk. He had some electronic name for the force. The facts are that something from the object turns the disk. He also said that the instrument I used had another name. He was wrong as the one he named was out in the open and mine was in a sealed jar....Art

If I thought you really wanted to know how it works, and would understand the explanation, I'd tell you.

................. but you don't ..................... and you wouldn't. ;)
