I really feel the E bikes are the latest tools in detecting. They can get you to places that you can still have time to detect that you wouldn’t if you had to hike there. I bought two of them on sale for $800.00 because I didn’t want to ride by myself and I knew my buddy didn’t have the money to buy one.

I had to look up the brand name I forgot, but they are Revi bikes and the model is predator. 500w 28mph top speed and 50 mile range. Also they are really fun to ride.

Any good reports on them ? i wonder what would be a good one to buy. I want to go off road to places would take me a long time to walk to. What are the good ones ?

in the state of Va, they go by class of electric bike, class 1 and 2 are street legal, class 3 is like a dirt bike motorcycle and not street legal . so look into what's legal if you want to go on the road or state lands. as far as what's a good one I'll leave that to others to answer.

But wouldn't that be considered an electric motorcycle, rather than an eBike? Don't class 2 eBikes top out at about 1KW of power and 28 MPH?

Actually, I don't go on streets or bike paths with it. It is more like a motorcycle than a bicycle, but it only weighs 110 pounds so it feels more like a bicycle than a motorcycle to me.

There have been many local fires started by charging e-bike batteries. If you get one come up with a place to safely recharge it. I fly R/C and use an old crockpot to hold the Lithium batteries while recharging. A friend and fellow pilot lost his garage when recharging one inside the model aircraft unattended.

Only ones I have used are Lectric Bikes. Reasonable prices when it comes to ebikes. All different kinds for different uses. Note wrecking on a Ebike is unpleasant I messed up on mine and still hurting and been a month or so since then. So if you get one be careful they can get squirrely real easy if you don't pay attention to what you're riding over or through.

Charlie I also fly Drones Earlier this year I had a drone battery explode and set my carpet on fire in my office. I did not have shoes on but stepped on the fire to put it out which it did. But I severely burned the bottoms of my feet. I knew there would be some pain but I feel i saved my office and home

i have owned an ariel rider keppler for 3yrs. 1000wats of power. goes fast or slow/hydaulic brakes. works great. two grand but now they are about 1600. great bike.

Indeed true. Just have to also be very alert. Any pothole, pine cone anything like that can throw you off. My case was a freak accident. Was being polite moving out of the way of a car trying to get on the side walk, this area before you get on the side walk has a little drainage line and just happened to fit my tire perfectly hit just the right angle slotted my tire in and tossed me off. Wasn't fun that's for sure

Monday I bought a Lectric xp 4.0 Yesterday I bought 2 Lectric 3.0's i am going to re sell them. One had 29 miles on it and the other one had 213 miles on it. The two used ones have all kinds of acc. on them including each one had a extra battery. I was told a battery on them was good for 50 miles on my 4.0 one it is good for 70 miles

I like the idea of the extra battery, JUST INCASE !
