Greetings. Please share your experiences with landowners. How did you approach them? What to say? How to keep it low key/low expectation, and build/maintain trust? Thanks you.
You said it yourself: Keep it low key and build and maintain trust. Anything else will just cause you trouble in the long run. Don't over promise. Don't go back on your word. Behave like your parents raised you. Oh, and transfer all that goodwill to a legally binding contract that is fair and reasonable to both parties if you actually have a chance of finding something of value. The landowner's parents may not have raised them the way your parents did. A fair and reasonable contract can put all parties at ease. What to say? How to keep it low key/low expectation, and build/maintain trust? Thanks you.
