fake find videos helping or harming what do you think

I will never understand young people today that feel left out, insecure and alone in a world of 6 billion people that the have to manufacture their importance with fabricated mini films. Or, living in a land of 'tweetdom' where they believe that every intimate fabric of their minute to minute lives have to be 'announced' to their world of followers. I 'follow' no one. Wasted minutes, wasted lives.

"well, I just had Breakfast, Guess it's time to brush My teeth" for the 500th. time

500th time?

How old are you?

Well that could work out to one day, if you got 500 Twitter addicts reading each others
posts :(

When they show nothing but good finds it sell detectors, because everyone wants to get in on finding goodies. But we all know the ratio of trash to good, and know that they are being phony. I've been saving everything I find for awhile now, so I can show people the amount of trash compared to the good finds. There is an astronomical amount of trash that they don't show on the videos. So when you go ask for permission to hunt a spot, if the land owner has watched any of the stupid shows, they say "no," figuring everything you find is good stuff, worth lots of money. The truth is I've never seen a rag buried since the 1930's come out of the ground in that good shape, and the flask looked hokey and new also. Around here the stuff I find is pretty eat up, and a rag is eat up in way less than 80 years, but the average person, especially if they are newby's wanting to get into the sport don't notice things like that. I think it does nothing but hurt the hobby, and a lot of used detectors hit the market or just sit in the closet when reality hits.
