I was FINALLY able to put this on video in a way I think ALL can understand, and practice.
A SIMPLE way to clean your final cons and get 99% pure gold, removing black sands.
What you can't really see in the video is that there is a ton of -50 mesh and 100 mesh gold.
The smaller the gold the easier it is to do this.

Things to remember....

1- "Slam on the brakes", let the inertia do the work.
2- Hot water and a little Jet Dry.
3- Tap only when gold is underwater.
4- Make "green space".
5- Do a few tablespoons at a time.

Once you perfect this method, clean up of super cons is VERY quick.
I did upload in HD if you want to watch full screen.

Thanks...
I'm SO glad this one came out the way it did.
I think it really puts that technique in such a way that all can learn it.
Funny.... only had to do one edit on the entire thing.
Think I coughed up a hair ball at one point.
:)

Good job Doc, this really is a good video of gold separation from black sands. With a little practice this technique works very well.

Thanks Doc,
Mike

Thanks for sharing.
I know after watching your videos on your site it was way easier for me to pan your cons I received.
This technique gets all the small stuff with ease.

Great technique, I use it all the time. I'd add that you should classify before inertial panning. Works much faster than. I use inertial panning for the -50 material. Above that traditional panning is faster for me...but only because I've removed the -50 material and the magnetic material too.
