Haven't got out much lately but detected a new permission didn't find much there just two small buttons, a Ford thing, and a 1952 wheat penny. Talking to the land owners was nice and helping them with their Xmas tree business was fun. Then I walked home and metal detected my homes freshly plowed field and found some little buckles and some weird looking thing I have no idea what it is. If anyone knows anything about the buckles I'd like to know about them.

Your little buckle things are from suspenders I think. I also think your FORD thing is the center button from a steering wheel or possibly an emblem from a radiator cap, but not modern.

Interesting finds John.
The 'President' brand suspender buckle is a nice find.

I'm thinking this site needs a revisit after a good soaking of rain. :hello2:

Nice finds for sure. The Ford Emblem is actually the front bumper emblem off a Model T or A Would have been attached brtween the split portion of the bumper. I know because I have the same one. Took me hours to figure that out.
