First Box For Christmas

I have never hunted halves in large amounts before. I have almost $300 saved up now, so since i'm 15 I made a deal with my mother. I told her i want a $500 box of halves to search on Christmas day. I pay $300 she gives me the rest in cash to buy the box. Sounds good to me!

If Possible, simply buy customer wrapped coins, or loose coins. After 500 dollars of those you will end up with some silver

tell her 500 is not enough, tell her to stop wasting money on ugg's and video games, and up the amount to $1000 (after showing her that IT does pay off). Dawg, show her my post, and the one above, its not like you're gonna waste this money either. $800, and if she has a problem with you asking for this much, I'd like her to respond personally.

Don't be too disappointed if that box, or even the next ten have no Silver. I still remember getting 3 40%s at my first Half Dollar bank stop ever and almost running out of the bank thinking I was about to rack up a ton of Silver at all the other banks. Then I got hit with cold hard reality as I started to go to other banks and order rolls/boxes and I got nothing quite often. The Silver eventually started to come in from the boxes, and I've gotten a few $100+ scores over my year and a half of searching Half Dollar boxes.

Well I did manage to find one war nickel, a buffalo and a foreign confoederatio helvetica coin. These were results from two boxes. The buffalo is strange lots of copper color showing through on the edges.
