First Ever Seated Coin. 1854 Seated Liberty Quarter

I was out detecting with a friend today and he had walked over to another section of the area we were in while I had started digging what I thought was a clad quarter. After fighting through some roots and rocks I was finally able to pull the target free. Used the pinpointer and found it outside of the hole. Picked it up and brushed some of the dirt away and saw the Eagle side. I wasn't familiar with this style of Eagle so when I flipped it over everything went black. I called my buddy and all I could say at the time was "You got to get over here!" I think I said it three or four times, I'm not sure. Anyway, yeah, my first seated coin. Not too shabby. And then as we were getting ready to leave I thought I heard a decent sound 82-83 about a foot away from where the Seated was. It took some circling the target to get a lock on it but about 6" down under another root I popped out a 1925 Merc. Two silvers for me is an awesome day.

cjon455...I actually used my go to baking soda and water. Gently rubbed with my fingers. Sorry, there was no other way to describe the action. LOL
