Nice work! The 'FG' after 14k is for 'Frederick Goldman', the maker. My first gold anything was a wedding band by the same maker here My first GOLD thing!....and a pocket watch

Yeah those that live in areas with very active beaches on the warmer coast do well. Put in the time on those beaches and you'll come up with gold and silver. My only gold comes from metal detecting at parks, schools or playgrounds. Parks are extremely hard work though lol and frustrating.
