I haven't been a member long but thought I would share this. After 5 years I finally found my first silver coin today!:headbang: A 1952 dime! 5 minutes later a 44 mercury! After that my pro-pointer quit working, I got pissed off and went home. I just got it back last Tuesday from being "repaired"!:BangHead:

Thanks for looking & HH to all!

great finds, sorry about your pointer,

Congrats on your silver finds, I just started and can't wait to find my first silver.

Congrats on your first silvers! Equipment failure is a pain, glad it's all working again. HH!

finds. What do you mean your pointer quit working? It isn't making a beep?

Thanks for looking, This is a house built in 1856. The owner said it was used for a hospital during the CW. I was expecting to find a lot older coins than these. I've been over the whole yard 3 times. Mostly pennies.

The pin pointer was giving me false signals. I've only had it 2 months. It would beep here & then there & then not here. Sometimes it would continue to beep after being removed from the hole. I sent it off and they fixed that. Yesterday was my first time out with it sense getting it back. Now it won't even turn on. I think the switch broke. I heard something snap when I tried to turn it on. They're sending UPS after it on Monday.

Nice finds, I bought two of those pointers, really for another person to use, that and my other detector, it came in handy when my pointer acted up and I had to get it repaired. Now I want to sell the old detector and buy another AT Pro, that way I'll never be "out of the water" as they say. I want backup!

Congratz, on your first silver coins , & about the pin pointer after only having it for only a few months and having to end it back twice imo Garrett should send a new pro pointer back along with yours.. [ just in case]

I like the way you think Davers!
