Fluted on both sides and extremely thin. Missing a corner.
I haven't sent it off or anything but I presume it to be real.

looks like a folsom with the fluteing nipple still there,i would send that one to gomer to get it restored
 

If it goes anywhere it would be to get papered! I read these are expensive and this one is so thin I can't imagine my sending through the mail anywhere.
 

thats a killer piece,did you find it?sure looks like a folsom to me but thats pretty far off the region those are typically found.very valuable whether you get it restored or not.thanks for sharing.
 

My uncle said he found it in the desert outside an Airforce Base he was stationed at in NM in the 70s. I assumed he meant Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque.
