I know that weather was wild, Like the color of that brownish flint. We found a couple on the way to metal detect the site across the field. They were standing up with an inch of soil right under them and nothing else from the pounding rains.I shot some pics first for me of them just laying there. Not enough for a post. Hey put on that coon and bald eagle you got yesterday. They were good pics. You are getting ready to rack up this summer. Keep this post going and then do a total finds be nice to typo the points.
Later Jamey.
Richard

Jamey,
I just logged on and read your last offer. That's a deal I would grab in a heartbeat! Actually, your worst piece would embellish any collection. Piece for piece, I don't recall seeing anyone who has done as well in such a short period of time. You've done a remarkable job. Hope you have a good off season. Thanks again for sharing an outstanding collection of artifacts and pictures.

ps
Our season is actully just about to begin down here as we begin harvest this summer and plow under the stuble. I hope to throw a picture or two your way, however, I'm playing in a different league.

Jamey has the water gone down any?

Richard

hi richard ,the water is still pretty high here, hate to say it but maybe it will get really dry round here this summer cause i really want to go back were i found that hazel point.thanks for the book i really like it.after i fully read it my son is going to also.a friend of mine knows were a cave is in this area, said he dosent know if anyone has been in it and he is to chicken too so im going to try to see it this weekend, any advice about finding anything in or around it thanks jamey

Its been almost 4 weeks now and we are still under water in the creeks and rivers. Your river still flooded?
Richard

hi there, just noticed your reply.yea it is so flooded here you would not belive it.cant even get to the boat ramps.i have just been talking to folks while fishing and getting alot of good leads, ive learned a lesson bout showing people my finds as a guy had my square knife in his hand and my big blade in his other.then started hitting them togehtor.yep the backward son of a gun chipped my big blade that was perfect,i could of died.he keep saying no >:(broke.i keep my cool and grabed them back and left, now that i think about it i dont no who was the dumb one me or him.oh i was offered 2000.00 for my clovis :icon_scratch: still thinking bout that one, good to hear rom ya richard, ill see ya soon i hope im ready for a good hunt jamey

This guy I know that has a large collection dropped one of my better points from January and it hit the hardwood and chipped it. He felt sick as I did. Would have throttled him if he banged them together. :stop: I do not think you will do better on the Clovis so,,thats your call. Yeah excited about hunting with you. I think and think being a key word I may have located a really good site. Maybe Dallas period with artsy stuff. I have not been there but the maps say yes and it fits right and I know its unhunted. If not we will hit the rivers and creeks by boat. Cmon down muddy water. They say 4 more days of storms coming up. Doing work days at the hunt clubs. You also need to come huntin time and put a few deer in your freezer for this winter.
Later Jamey and HH
