Found what I think is a Bayonett adapter?tools and bullets this evening

Went back to the new spot for a few hours this evening.Found what I believe to be a bayonet adapter of some kind,a few drop bullets and some old hoe heads.The people who owned this old plantation must have owned allot of slaves.I found, I don't know how many broken up old hoe heads,mostly just the nubs where the handle would have went in.If someone knows what the piece I think is a adapter,please let me know.I found a C.S one years ago but had allot of differences,I am not really sure about it.Thanks.HH

I know some guys who have found some really nice stuff and saved a fair amount of our history. I would say that I can also hold my own in the hunt. But, that is over a pretty broad area of Va. and NC. You gotta know that our region and the whole East Coast have a lot of treasures to be found. Just can't get enough!

Oh yeah I know,I was just making conversation.I can't get enough either.But no matter where you are, if you don't have a decent place to go,you won't find a whole lott.

Since no one has chimed in; the round thing is not a bayonet adapter. I have no idea what it is but my hunch in early 20th century like maybe off a en early vehicle, etc. Nice finds. Any day finding Civil War bullets is a good day...
