The coat of arms of Gabrielle-Emilie de Breteuil, marquise du Châtelet (1706-1749) somewhat resembles what you found.

If this is indeed a ring from the hand of Mademoiselle Gabrielle Émilie Le Tonnelier de Breteuil Marquise du Châtelet, you have truly found an amazing artifact. I read this entire synopsis of her life and found it amazingly fascinating. She was a colleague and lover of Voltaire, among many others, and one of the few women in France at her time who was involved in the sciences at a high level.

I highly recommend the read.
