Full Box or Half Box ?

I keep reading about people finding half boxes. When I go to my bank and ask for half boxes,they tell me all they have are full boxes. Where are you finding half boxes? I find this very confusing and I would appreciate your help in unraveling this conundrum. Thanks in advance, JP

I think they mean half boxes as in "half dollar boxes" Like for example. I am picking up a half box on wedsnesday... meaning I am picking up a box of halves wedsnesday. I personally use the word half dollar or halves rather than half. I see your confusion. Hope this helps you out! HH!

i actually think he is talking about a box only half full. like a half dollar box, worth $250. I have also seen these around the forums aswell. i do believe they talk to the teller and buy half of the box from them is they dont have the funds for the whole thing though. but quite possibly they do have half, half dollar boxes in other regions
