Have any pictures of your areas you hunt? I must of seen 5 just like this one but really didn’t find much. Just flakes and one broken tip. It’s been over a month since my last hunt. Some of you already know but I’ve done something to my back which causes my legs to get a numbness feeling. They think it’s a pinched nerve. I’m getting tested this week and hopefully will get some type of answer as to what it is. Idk if anyone has had it before here but the pain goes from my hip all the way to my foot. It started about 2 months ago in my left leg. That pain subsided and went away then about a month ago it moved to my right leg. Hopefully it can be fixed.

That sounds like sciatica. I had that for a short time and luckily it went away. Hope yours goes away as well.

I looked that up and it sounds just like my pain areas. Only thing different is it doesn’t hurt while walking or sitting. Just when I stand in one place for my job cutting meat. Feels better today than it has in a couple of months. I’m still getting the tests just in case it comes back. My job doesn’t include sitting it’s all standing and walking. Thanks I believe you solved it.

Animals caught in a flashflood perhaps? Only skulls?
Four of the pictures have bison skulls or parts of skulls which make for an interesting picture. Many other bones are found as well but aren’t quite so photogenic. Most all of the streams in the Great Plains region have prehistoric animal remains in them, especially bison bones. Of the various reasons the bones being found in the streambeds flash floods would probably not be considered a primary reason.

on your back look up SI joint . mine was really bad and some YouTube videos allowed a release and it's doing better now.

I’ve never had sciatica in both legs. I did however have it horribly bad, where sitting and standing was intolerable. Over 2 months of this getting worse. I did nothing to try and treat it myself. I went to the doctor thinking I MUST have a ruptured disc or something. They ordered x-rays at the hospital ($$). Another appointment for them to say they saw nothing wrong. Went to the chiropractor and they looked at my x-ray and immediately saw my vert was out of alignment. 6 weeks later I was good and walking straight.

Cortisone shot can help, drinking lots of fluids and hydrating. Easy stretches in the am. Anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxers. Pillows under and between your knees depending on how you lay.

The legs switched first the left then moved to the right. It’s much better this week probably cause I’ve had some days off to relax them. That week I had to work 9 days straight about killed me. If you have never had the pinched nerve before it’s just as painful as a broken leg which I’ve had both now. Test day finally in a couple of hours and I’m hoping for a good result for the problem.

You don’t want to go very long with tingling and numbness. Most people don’t drink enough water. Being hydrated increases the cushion in your joints. It also helps lubricate the nerve sheaths that get inflamed when you have nerve damage.

The last picture looks like a mammoth tooth, did you pick it up?
Yes indeed, I always collect the mammoth & mastodon remains as they are few and far between compared to bison bones and skulls. That find was after a high water and the river water level was still dropping. In another day that tooth would have been high and dry on the gravel bar.

More pics of that particular tooth which is from a young mammoth.

One I used to hunt. Found a bar in a new creek I'm hoping to check out this weekend
There's places along the small creeks around here that look very much like this photo. I've looked around the gravel banks for artifacts, but haven't found anything yet.

Nerve testing was very painful with needles and electrical shocks
