I carry an old H&R .22 pistol. Double action.
Bought it at a pawn shop for $25.00 many moons ago.
Very lightweight and carries well in my pants pocket or jacket pocket.

Loaded with CCI Stinger Hollow Points it will take care of most varmints, 2 or 4 legged.

But i do agree with those on the board that say the best defense against a snake is to avoid them.
Or a 10 ft. pole.
