Happy Birthday to me

Howdy All, Went to local park beach this morning to hunt for a while. Hunted out in the water before the crowd got there. There was a kid around 10 or 11 that decided he was going to "help" me. I got several pieces of the normal trash and then scored a nice small 10 K wedding band. Kid started hollering at the top of his lungs. HE FOUND GOLD! HE FOUND GOLD! So much for being discreet. A few minute later found a junk ring. The crowd finally started to fill up the water so i went up on the beach where i found the small twisted wire ring that appears to be silver. My helper comandeered the propointer and helped dig up my small fortune in pennies, dimes and quarters and also helped pick up trash{COOL}. he was going in front of me with the propointer and sweeping it back and forth in the sand and actually found some pennies and a nickle. All in all a good birthday morning and i think that i might have ruined a kid. He was telling his aunt that he wanted a metal detector for his birthday and asking if she would tell his parents. I gave her my card to give to his dad so he could call me for advice if needed.
