My daughter was up walking around the cemetery in Central City, Colorado today and text me this photo. It's the resting place of many of hard rock miners of the late 19th early 20th century. I walked around it once and saw countless headstones of the Cornish miners stating the their birth place being that of Devon and Cornwall.

Your post on Central City Co. brought back some memories of when I was out there for a Miner's Rally many years back . THANKYOU for the memories again !

Clever use of the (mining) word "DRIFT" in the legend.

Now 'I get your Drift'.......... :laughing7: :whip2: :cat:...........sorry for the poor play on a word there.

Nice.
They were famous here too for their mining skills. Especially on the Castlemaine Fryerstown fields where I used to detect a lot.
