You may want to post your story and pix at the fossilforum.com.....You will get several responses the same day you post.....Extinctions.com is one of the only pay for fossil authentication services that i have been able to locate..From what i have read, they are the gold standard in fossil authentication..Of course that means sending the heart to South Dakota....

In the JULY/AUGUST edition of ARCHAEOLOGY magazine there is a pic/story of a fossilized human brain from 300 BC!!!!..I think it`s page 32 or 33...Local Barnes & Nobles should have it...

Just an update guys, we had a high resolution CAT scan done of the stone, at first we planed to post it on line but according to the person that did the scan it encompasses several CD's all full of the scan data, in short close to GB of information, not a lot by todays standards but a lot to try and post on line.

Wow, you guys were extremely harsh. give this guy a break, hes excited over a possible treasure that he found. I thought that is what T-net forums were designed for, to share information and get positive feedback? I mean he may have been aggressive with assumptions, but it that truly a reason to disrespectfully mock him? i don't think so. Keep researching Sheldon, I would love to hear the ending of this story.

Thanks GG, I think we all know just because there has been nothing of this kind ever found before, does not make it impossible, Just think of all the never found before that have been posted in the "treasure in the news" section in the last year alone, not a lot but enough to give one pause for thought.

Recently, a friend found a 1949 wheat penny... pretty cool, huh? But then he started to claim that his find was really a
Ferdinand Vll gold doubloon. Would most here try to educate the fool that his copper is not gold? Or would they acquiesce?

Hi there...I just joined this site so I could reply to your posting. I did not read all of the messages. I just wanted to say that I have found many "permineralized" skulls on my property over the past five months. Absolutely no one believes me of course, and no one will come here and look at any of the skulls. I have several of the skulls posted to a rough-draft of my website; will be updating it and showing bones and more soon. Almost all bones, skulls, teeth, etc. have been permineralized to quartzite and jasper. The colors and varieties of both are endless.

Please look at two of the skulls at www.mypaleodig.com and I will include one picture.

Thanks...That's what I thought! Like Sheldon, I also have silica based (quartzite and jasper) permineralized soft-tissue fossils. He is correct by saying no one believes him since it is not accepted in the scientific community. Yet I have over 50 dinosaur skulls with eye sockets and teeth and mouths and ear cavities all in the correct place! Plus literally thousands of bones. I may have to go to 60 Minutes!!! LOL...Kathy

I would say that your friend needs professional help as he is not in touch with reality.
Either that or you are making a lame attempt at trying to discredit the original poster whom is not trying to make such an obviously false and preposterous claim.
