Found tonight in the surf Eastern NC Neuse River. Exterior is very course. Interior is hard and smooth. The stone itself feels heavy. It’s not magnetic. Unlike any stone I’ve ever encountered in the ocean or river. Wondering if the interior is flint? I don’t think it’s petrified wood.
