I've had some health issues lately and been unable to get out. Well I've been able to get out the last 3 days. Found old copper and buttons each day. Today I went to the same site I've been beating up. Got in the iron and went low and slow. I was rewarded with this beauty. These are just today's finds. Still running pretty high on adrenaline. Wow. Just wow. Usually I don't get to the forum often enough to nominate before something hits the banner, this time I can and proud to do it. So many interesting firsts on this coin and others in the same era that 200+ years later we don't even think about. The reverse is too cool.

Just seeing this now. WTG Art!!! That is a nice one - it's not holed or plow struck. I have dug 1797 and 1803 DBD's and both of mine are pretty beat up. That is Banner for sure.
