i just like the fact that it showed real digs with junk and not alot of planted finds, i really thought every other hole was gonna be a morgan or barber so it was refreshing ta see a nail and trash. these guys have been doin this for years and have dvd's and use that lingo all the time. i'm not too worried about this show wreckin the hobby, its the up comming show thats gonna be on spike tv that i'm concerned about

I thought it was mildly entertaining. I think all the slang will get old fast. I heard the word toke more times last night than I did at the Ted Nugent concert I went to in 1979.

I thought it was bad all around. Stupid, made-up terms that nobody else would ever use. Jumping around like a monkey on crack after a find, screaming to each other and running over to see whats being dug.

It looks like they took the worst aspects of thier youtube vids and made it into a tv show.

having worked behind the scenes of an episode of a reality show.... this one was not as over "produced" as I have seen.

It is TV. There is some fakery with canned beeps. I also was wondering about the slow swing speed... but that may be a camera issue. I was worried that the show would just cover all the good items and make it look like its all treasure out there.

and yeah.... I need to find whoever buys that stuff from them so I can get those prices too.

I really enjoyed the show and how enthusiastic they are about detecting. Seems like a lot of folks are scared and paranoid about nothing to me. Great job Diggers!

Adults acting like twelve year old children. No mention of a code of ethics. Disrespectful digging techniques, and no mention of filling their holes. Totally unreasonable price quotes given. And the list goes on and on.

Yea I laughed and thought to myself I had been talking all wrong when I was detecting!......lol

The talk was probably in the script. Too much reality show BS. I didn't think much of the inflated values they put on items, which to me kind of puts us in a bad light, like the general public, and especially politicians will think we are out there making big bucks. And I'd like to see them fill their holes and show some of the junk they find, and then show them packing it off.

You mean you didn't get a kick out of them screaming when they saw a coin shaped target in their hole that wasn't even silver or a big piece of copper?

If they hunted with my friends and i, they would be doing so much running it would make them puke. It took them how many days of hunting for a wheat and an indian head? If that's all I had after an HOUR of detecting I would be pretty dang grumpy.

It does crack me up though seeing the AT Pros fail so miserably. CHOICE locations and they can't turn up one silver coin? Are you serious?

I don't think it would have made any difference what model detector they were carrying.

Somebody grab a camera and follow me around! I'm going to start hunting 10 feet behind these guys and screaming at every find I dig that they walk over.

I was think the same thing about thier finds. They spend 2 days on the CW island, hunting well into the night because the finds are so good yet they have like 12 things at the end? 99% of those things would be going straight into my recycle tub.

Fail ? If they dug silver, I'd be Curious
if it was a fake find, or they spliced in
from another site.

I'm surprised they didn't use a show
where they did find a silver coin. for at
least one of last nights shows.

I use a Minelab & Don't find silver every time out.

those Garretts Fake tones sounded Real bad though.
& Everytime they moved the coil they fake beeped &
they ignored most of the beeps
may as well used a Geiger Counter sound at the Sites
or a Subs Ping sound at the Beach

As for the Antics, I think if the show Lasts,
they will calm down

Well i did not see it i spent my time here looking at real treasure finds nothin but truth here.
Got to see how all kinds of detectors worked on real targets of real good people.
The people here spoke my lingo. TreasureNet the truth is strenger that fiction and better finds nope not 1 tube of toothpaste !!
