If we start discussing legal right to own or losing our right to own then thread is on verge of becoming political and we know where that will lead.
my best bet---for close range household type work --- a remingtom 870 expess magnum --3 inch chamber-- loaded with 5 rounds of #4 buckshot and a CZ 52 loaded with steel core bulgarian" body armor" busting ammo (just in case
"body armored" ) with that combo you can really "clean house"

Bigscoop, You can't enjoy your guns quietly. That is unless you have a silencerView attachment 700793!
Nope, I'm quite sure that the question has been answered correctly. They just put the emphasis on the first question and some ignored the second as it doesn't apply to them. They wouldn't try it without a gun.
Others might not, but I would certainly wrap a 2 iron around someones skull
Seems like your now saying it's 2 separate questions you are missing 1 question markThose periods are used as a pause of dramatic effect

the ellipsis shows that the writer or speaker has simply "tailed off" into silence, deliberately leaving something unsaid

I personally don't own a firearm, but if you come into my home you might decide to leave quickly.
It's akin to the barn at the end of the movie "Twister" where the guy asked: "Who are these people?" There isn't a place in my home where I cannot access a fresh edged weapon. There isn't one I don't know how to use effectively . . . my only problem is age is catching up and I'm not as quick as I used to be.
Chad, I don't know you, or how much combat edged weapon training you've had, but if three men with assualt rifles and pistols are entering your home and even SEE you with an edged weapon, you become a lead catcher. People like to kid themselves because the only real combat or human conflict they can relate to is far removed and on the nightly news, youtube or the movies. If you have actually been hit by a bullet, or cut with a knife in the process of fighting for your life reality is a lot closer to home. Life is not a movie. You do not talk your way out of a home invasion. If you are not armed you run, period.
