Humming bird update......

....Huston, we have eggs! A nest we thought was deserted has it's 2 eggs now and this nest is level with my shoulders! I hope these hummers make it.



Here's new pictures of the 2 other nests I've been keeping an eye on...try not to over stay my visits & get cussed out by the foul mouthed birds! This one is in among the grapes.





This one is on the other side of the path.

looks like mama humming bird is trusting of you, there mother nature... Hope the little hatchlings make it okay. Be sure you run off any crows coming to close.

tamrock....yes, do have Ravens here. And the "she's" all make a real fuss when I take pictures, they're on & off the nest constantly while I'm taking the pictures.

austin......nice of you to say that....but then from the looks of all the posting on this sit....it's everywhere if we look...thank goodness!

They're back in the high country now. Made the mistake of takin along the red camp chair the other day and had to put up with a couple of those rascals dive bombing me when I least expected it.

Hey fletch88....thanks for posting your "Ruby throated" Hummingbird, he's beautiful! Yes, exciting to be close to the little guys...love getting "buzzed" by them & it's pretty neat when you can feel the little breeze their wings make.
