Just finished boarding up house and the last sheet fell off the sill and konked me on the head,busting my top and bottom lip between my teeth......oh boy it's gonna be a rough one.

Oh wow....you've taken damage already !! Well....hunker down village....were getting pounded right now....im expecting it'll rain till tomorrow night or even longer !! Big thunder and lighting.

Boarding up the Cape Coral house tonight and tomorrow, have a feeling these canals aren't going to keep up with that rain.
Heading to Fort Myers Beach to ride it out.

Here it comes....major rain and thunder here in the keys.....far enough away from me that the wind is not severe. Gusty conditions in the thunder storms, and moderate lightning!! Looks like its gonna be a long day !!

Got through the first tornado 🌪 warning. It slid south of us....trying to contact my mother inlaw....looks like it went right over her. Its pretty windy 20 with gusts to 40.

Ya....I can tell !! Im in a lull right now, but its been sporty a couple times....I think I will get a little erosion outta this.....water is coming up.

The neighborhood kids and my son are all checking it out for the first time....no school !!

Water still rising, but tide is on the way down.....thank God !!

Trailer is definitely sketchy. We're keeping an eye with a few escape plans if things turn for the worst.. I don't expect the caloosahatchee to overflow enough to reach us with raging floodwater, but who knows. While we wait just enjoying shooting beer cans with bb guns from the porch breaking into the 5 cases of Busch latte.
Currently, the ground is saturated with water and ditches are starting to fill. Bunche beach has very low visibility, but water is glass. Will keep everyone up to date from this side.
