electricity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a nasty ice storm hit us last Thursday.
Been without power for 6 days.

Thank God for the woodstove!

Power came back late this afternoon :icon_sunny:

Hello, Ashleen,
Those ice storms can be really nasty. Glad you had that wood stove to keep you warm and dry. That was a long time without power. I have lost power because of ice storms but NEVER that long. I can imagine your relief when it came back on.

I use to live in Savanna, Il. I hated those ice storms! We lived on just enough of a hill that I would park at the bottom of the street and crawl home.

It's been a great day with full power

Alot of people in NH still have no power, and some may not even have it by Christmas

We've got 10 inches of snow coming tomorrow and more for Sunday.
All the baking and stuff I usually do the week before Christmas has not been done. Heck with it this year.....Christmas will come without it. No problem
